SXSW Tour 2012!

We’re pleased and excited to announce that we’ll be performing at the famous SXSW festival in Austin, Texas this year! We’ll be swinging through a number of cities that we missed on the last run as well, so please check out out tour dates and we’ll see you at the show! Tell a friend!
12 Years and Counting…
Today marks the 12th anniversary of my first performance under the TVT moniker. It was at a club in Iceland called Gauker á Stöng with just myself, a guitar and Line6 pod borrowed from a local musician named Nonni (who I met through mp3.com… remember that?), and my QY70 sequencer that I programmed a good amount of the early EP’s on. The two weeks I was there, not to mentioned the twelve years that have followed, have been a wild ride. Thanks to all who have listened and helped along the way. ♥ -Judah
How’s it going, boss?
We recently received some live shots from our friend, Couirey Eckmayer, of a couple East Coast shows from our Fall 2011 Tour with Minus the Bear, including this romantic one of David David and Matthew David. Check them out!

New Year’s Eve Party 2011!
We’re playing at one of our favorite venues of all time (Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco) for New Year’s Eve. I’m not going to give away any secrets, but this is going to be so much fun. We’re definitely going a little crazy with this one. Alright, so here are the links:

Family
Man, this last week has been a blast, and I can’t believe this leg of the tour is almost over. Let’s see… Webster Hall was easily one of my favorite nights of the trip, what a champion of a venue that is. Amazing stage sound (crucial for the touring musician), great crowd, man… that was fun. 9:30 Club, The National, Lincoln Theatre, The Masquerade, good god. These shows have been off the hook. And most recently, N’awlins House of Blues. What a killer vibe that place has. Also awesome was hanging at an authentic N.O. hip hop show for a bit. First time for me and I loved it.
Further more, I have to mention that I LOVE being part of the MTB family. Being on tour with people that I genuinely consider to be some of my closest friends is the best feeling in the world. Makes me wish we didn’t live so far from each other, and makes the experience of touring together something I can’t properly put into words.
See you tonight, Houston!
Thank you!
Last night was so much fun. Definitely one of the biggest crowds I have personally ever played to. I think there were 2,250 people in attendance. Crazy crazy crazy. We sold out of a few sizes of our shirts but should be replenished by our Brooklyn show. Okay, I’m tired. I’m going to try to sleep in the van again. Wish me luck! Oh yeah! We picked up another straggler. My sister Megan is with us until Atlanta documenting our antics. Sleep time… Night night.
Philly…
You have no idea what you are in for. I think we just came up with a killer set list for you guys tonight. Mind helping us break it in? They’re aren’t many tickets left so grab ‘em up soon. Also, DON’T PAY ATTENTION TO TICKET MASTER! We start at 8:15 on the nose. See you there!
How much?
This is how much we love you: Instead of taking a day off in Brooklyn, one of the coolest places on earth, we’re going to play a show for those of you who weren’t able to get tickets to the sold out Webster Hall show. We’re playing Monday, October 17th at the Glasslands Gallery in Williamsburg. Spanish Prisoners and Crinkles will be joining us. Sounds like fun, yeah? Yes it does. Hopefully we’ll see you there!!!
